Case study - Excellent PRO (B2B)

A B2B system and product graphics for a cosmetics brand

For Excellent PRO we built a B2B system and now run it for the client - together with all the product styling: photos, visuals, labels, descriptions and SEO.

The challenge

New arrivals every few days, each collection a dozen or so products

Excellent PRO is a professional nail styling brand: gels, hybrids, acrylics, prep products and decorations. This industry runs on collections and new items keep coming - more every few days, and across a season that is dozens of collections and over a thousand items.

Each one has to be prepared from scratch: photograph the jar and a colour swatch, design the label, write it up, fill in the wholesale price tiers and minimum order quantities, add it to the B2B offering - before the collection loses its freshness. At that pace a smooth, repeatable process is what counts - so that is what we take on, from the graphics to going live in the B2B offering, collection after collection.

B2B system

A catalogue, accounts and wholesale pricing in one place

For Excellent PRO we built a B2B system: a catalogue of hundreds of products, contractor registration and login, prices by customer group, a wholesale cart and order placement. A salon or distributor logs in and orders, seeing their own prices and stock.

  • A catalogue of hundreds of products with filters and search
  • Contractor registration and login
  • Wholesale prices: tiers, customer groups, minimum order quantities
  • Wholesale cart and order history

Product photos and visuals

Studio product photos, true to colour

Every product gets the full set: a studio photo of the jar and a colour visual on a swatch, on a uniform background and in the same frame across the whole line. The product list then looks consistent, and the buyer sees the colour faithfully - no surprises once the parcel is opened.

  • A jar photo and a colour visual on a swatch
  • The same frame and lighting across the whole collection
  • True-to-life colour - fewer returns and questions
  • Ready for the B2B platform, banners and social media

Visuals and colour charts

A key visual and colour chart for every collection

For each collection we create a key visual - a banner that sets its mood and instantly says what the line is about. Neon Paradise is tropical neon, the Wedding Collection is bridal pastel. Plus a chart of every colour on a single graphic, so the stylist can compare shades at a glance.

  • A collection key visual: name, colours, theme
  • Variants for the homepage, category and social media
  • A chart of every shade on a single graphic
  • A consistent visual language across the B2B platform

Label design

Label designs ready for print and the B2B offering

For every product we design the label: colour name, number, brand logo and a barcode with the EAN number. It has to be legible on a small jar, consistent across the whole line, and ready for print and for the B2B platform. One system that scales to the next collections without designing from scratch.

  • Colour name, number and barcode (EAN)
  • One consistent system across the whole collection
  • Legible even on small packaging
  • Files ready for print and for the B2B platform

B2B administration

We handle the whole collection rollout for the client

The client never has to open a panel or add products by hand - we take that part on in full. We prepare names, descriptions, prices and categories, then publish every product in the B2B offering. New arrivals group into a dated section, so the partner sees what is fresh straight away.

  • The entire collection rollout handled on our side
  • Names, descriptions, prices and categories prepared by us
  • An automatic New arrivals section with a date
  • The client loses no time on the panel or manual work

Product tools

Tools that lead to the right product

Professional cosmetics means hundreds of shades and several techniques, so the buyer needs guiding. We built that toolkit - a gel selector, curing times, opacity levels and colour charts - for Excellent PRO on the brand site excellentpro.net, where we cover it in full.

which gel to choose?
I am looking for a gel for french, with good coverage.
Selector: For french, a thick building gel with high coverage works best. I filter by technique and effect and suggest specific products.

The result

The client makes the product, we do all the rest

The client comes up with the collection and owns the product itself - the formula, packaging and logistics. Everything else is on us: the B2B system and running it, plus photos, visuals, labels, descriptions, barcodes, banners, news posts, mailing and SEO. The brand does what it does best, and we take all the IT off its plate.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly do you do for the Excellent PRO B2B system?

We built the brand a B2B system and run it for them: we add products, prices and categories, and keep the catalogue and availability in order. Plus the whole product styling - photos, visuals, labels, descriptions, banners, news posts, mailing - and SEO.

Are the photos, visuals and labels your own work?

Yes. We create the product packshots, collection key visuals, colour charts and label designs ourselves, in one consistent style. That way the whole collection looks like a single set, not a pile of random graphics.

How quickly does a new collection reach the B2B offering?

We roll out whole lines in batches, not product by product. Names, descriptions, prices and categories are prepared once for the entire collection, so every product goes live at the same time, consistently described and priced - days instead of weeks.

Do you also design labels and packaging?

Yes. We design labels with the colour name, number, logo and a barcode with the EAN number, legible on small packaging and consistent across the whole line. We hand over the files ready for print and for use in the B2B system.

Will you do this for my brand and my B2B system?

Yes. Photos, visuals, labels and a smooth product rollout are not tied to one industry or sales platform - we shape the scope around your range. The easiest way to start is a short conversation or a no-obligation quote.

How much does this kind of service cost?

The price depends on scope: how much of it is graphics (photos, visuals, labels), how many collections per season and how much B2B administration we take on. The best first step is the quote form - you describe what you need, and we come back with a concrete proposal and cost.
